Supreme Court upholds birthright citizenship on constitutional grounds

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the Constitution guarantees birthright citizenship to nearly all children born in the U.S., firmly striking down Trump’s executive order seeking to deny citizenship to children of undocumented or temporary-visa parents.
