Immigration Agency Pushes Back 13,000 Furloughs Until the End of August

USCIS has requested a $1.2 billion in funding from Congress to keep the agency afloat. They sent furlough notices to 13,000 employees to start August 3, 2020, but the agency has delayed these potential furloughs until August 21, 2020.
