The House’s Latest Coronavirus Relief Bill Gives Stimulus Payments to Unauthorized Immigrants

The latest relief package proposal, HEROES Act, passed the House and proposes $3 trillion in spending. Democrats voted in a provision that would allow unauthorized immigrants to receive stimulus checks backdated from the CARES Act and HEROES if passed by the Senate.
