Crenshaw bill would allow longer custody of migrant minors, mandate DNA testing of families

The Flores Settlement Update and Establishment Act of 2022 has been introduced by Texas Representative Crenshaw, aiming to extend the length of time that immigrant minors can be held in U.S. custody from 72 hours to 120 days and to require DNA testing of family units.
