Current beneficiaries will not be affected for six months and no new application will be accepted or acted on after Tuesday, September 5th. 200 Elected Officials Urge President Trump to Resettle 75K Refugees

International Refugee Assistance Project, Urban Justice Center (Aug 28, 2017)

Nearly 200 local and state elected representatives from 31 states expressed their support for resettling refugees in their states and communities in a letter to President Trump. They called on him to resettle at least 75,000 refugees in the U.S. in Fiscal Year 2018. The CICW added its support and signature to this letter.
